Before anyone gets too freaked out about Delgado's hip, Shrek's quad, Ollie's "knee", and Brian Schneider's wandering ailments, remember this--it's a long season and dings and things will happen.
It's the rare team that doesn't suffer stretches where parts of the club are out, and the key is to not have too may important players out for long stretches...the Mets have avoided that, thanks largely to a core of players who play every day.
Focus on the now, keep the balance of the club healthy and win ballgames.
Delgado will be fine.
(said without any panic whatsoever--just a passing remark, really, yawn, no worries, am I even awake?)
