I like judging managers by three main criteria--can they motivate their players, are they good strategists, and do they get results?
While I'm certain that Oberkfell is a solid motivator (based on what we've heard about him over the years), I'm not so certain about his ability as a strategist.
If his record is an indication, he's not very good. In fact, his record is average at best, and worse from an overall win-loss perspective.

I vote no on Oberkfell. I'll keep Manuel over him. ...and please No Bob Melvin.
