Dude you don't know what you are talking about. Murphy is 1-1 against Moyer and you are christening him to hit second tonight. Give me a break. Schneider is 2 for 5. 5 freaking at bats and you want to start him, a lefty, over the righty Santos.
I understand not liking Manuel, I don't like him either, but please back up your dislike with logical reasoning. 2 lefties with a combined 6 at bats is not an argument.
And oh yeah, Tim Redding is starting, a fly ball pitcher, against a predominantly lefty Phillies lineup which hits a bunch of fly balls. And you want to start Tatis in right field over FMart, in order to get another lefty (Murphy) in the lineup who has 2 career plate appearances against Moyer (oh, but he's 1-1 in those, right?)
Learn the game of baseball buddy, before you spit out a bunch of batting averages derived from 6 at bats.
Santos has a .286 OBP on the year, and a .280 OBP against lefty's.
He has also caught 9 innings the last two days, and 6 games in the last 9 days.
Good game to start Schneider.
FMart is 0 for 9 against lefty's this year.
Murphy is 6 for 23 off lefty's in 2009, and yes, he homered off Moyer (and walked) this year.
