Mike Jacobs Is an April Powerhouse

Mike Jacobs has 11 homeruns in his last two Aprils in just 161 at-bats.

There is a lot of hand-wringing over Jerry Manuel's decision to bat him fourth, but I think he goes yard three times this week.

Bottom line is the Mets need power--the team's total of 95 HRs last year was pitiful.

Big Jake adds some oomph, and he can certainly add it early.
