As long as Alex Cora is the starting shortstop and Tatis is healthy, his Florida batting average isn't relevant. The Mets need a backup who can play third base.

Tatis is sub-par and has been since last year. We caught lightning in a bottle in 08, but its over. He is going to make the team but he should not, Carter should make it over Jacobs but he will not. Expect the management to ignore the performances of some this spring.
