Well that was fun.
Jason "I wanted to be a Met" Marquis walked the bases loaded. Alex Cora hit a single to drive in a run, and then Omir Santos stepped to the plate.
Omir lined one into leftfield, and after the ball bounced around it rolled under the fence. The ball was clearly playable, but the Nats leftfielder, Tavares, decided to raise his hand and ask for the ground rule double.
His request fell on deaf ears, and Omir circled the bases for an inside the park Grand Slam.
