These guys sure look like they came to spring training ready to hit.
On the backs of homeruns by David Wright, Daniel Murphy, Gary Mathews, Jr, and Jason Bay, the club just put up a very nice nine run inning.
It looks more and more like Mets version 2010 is going to be a club quite capable of putting up a lot of runs, especially with a very solid and professional middle of the order.
Yes having Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran out for a few weeks to start the year is not great, but adding Jason Bay, having DW back on track, and with Murph a year older and more mature, the offense is looking up.
