John Maine will travel to NY today to have an MRI to determine if there's any structural damage on his shoulder. He complained of pain before the game and dropped his shoulder angle during the game, which caused concern for other injuries due to the change in his motion.
Maine is next scheduled to pitch Sunday in Houston.
Pedro Martinez will get the start Friday and will be on an 80 pitch count.
